New Delhi, April 10 Prices of cottonseed oil cake rose by Rs 8 to Rs 3,530 per quintal in futures trading on Friday, as speculators created new positions due to increased demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for May delivery traded higher by Rs 8, or 0.23 percent, to Rs 3,530 per quintal with an open interest of 42,040 lots.
Market participants said that the increased demand for cattle feed mainly influenced the prices of cottonseed oil cake.
