New Delhi, March 11 Prices of cottonseed oil cake rose by ₹9 to ₹3,444 per quintal in futures trading on Wednesday, as speculators created new positions due to increased demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for April delivery traded higher by ₹9, or 0.26 percent, at ₹3,444 per quintal, with an open interest of 41,860 lots.
Market participants said that the increased demand for cattle feed, along with the widening of positions by participants, mainly influenced the prices of cottonseed oil cake.
