New Delhi, March 12 The price of cottonseed oil cake rose by ₹66 to ₹3,430 per quintal in futures trading on Thursday, as speculators created new positions due to increased demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for April delivery traded higher by ₹66, or 1.92%, at ₹3,430 per quintal, with an open interest of 46,470 lots.
Market participants said that the increased demand for cattle feed, along with the widening of positions, mainly influenced the price of cottonseed oil cake.
