New Delhi, February 25 Prices of cottonseed oil cake rose by Rs 8 to Rs 3,328 per quintal in futures trading on Wednesday, as speculators created fresh positions due to increased demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for March delivery traded higher by Rs 8, or 0.24 percent, at Rs 3,328 per quintal with an open interest of 55,820 lots.
Market participants said that the increased demand for cattle feed primarily influenced the prices of cottonseed oil cake.
