New Delhi, April 7 Prices of cottonseed oil cake increased by Rs 2 to Rs 3,560 per quintal on Tuesday in futures trading, as speculators created fresh positions due to higher demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for May delivery traded higher by Rs 2, or 0.06 percent, to Rs 3,560 per quintal with an open interest of 28,230 lots.
Market participants said the increased trading activity by participants, mainly driven by increasing demand for cattle feed, mainly influenced the prices of cottonseed oil cake.
