New Delhi, February 24 The price of cottonseed oil cake rose by Rs 18 to Rs 3,342 per quintal in futures trading on Tuesday, as speculators created new positions due to increased demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for March delivery traded higher by Rs 18, or 0.54 percent, at Rs 3,342 per quintal, with an open interest of 56,070 lots.
Market participants said that the increasing demand for cattle feed, along with the widening of positions by participants, mainly influenced the price of cottonseed oil cake.
