Srinagar, March 28 A CRPF soldier died, allegedly due to a cardiac arrest, in the Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday, officials said.
Head Constable Gyan Chand of the 14th Battalion of CRPF fainted inside the camp at the District Police Lines (DPL) in Shopian this morning, officials added.
They said the soldier was rushed to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Proceedings under Section 194 of the Ranbir Penal Code (RPC) have been initiated to determine the cause of death.
