
RAMBAN, FEBRUARY 20: The 84th Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), operating under the Jammu Sector, organized a day-long free medical camp in the remote village of Palli to provide healthcare services to underserved villagers.
The camp was inaugurated by Commandant N. Ranbir Singh, along with Second in Command Vikram Singh, Assistant Commandant Roop Ram Meena, and local residents. Over 300 villagers, including women and children, received free consultations, medicines, diagnostic tests (ECG, blood and sugar tests), and a first aid kit was provided to the village health worker.
Commandant Singh emphasized that, in addition to their internal security duties, the CRPF also undertakes civic initiatives to support local communities. The medical team included Dr. Anu Gorke (Senior Medical Officer/District Coordinator), Dr. Biranmol Singh (Medical Officer/Assistant Coordinator), and paramedics. Villagers expressed their gratitude for the initiative.
