New Delhi, February 26 Crude oil prices fell by ₹14 to ₹5,975 per barrel in futures trading on Thursday, amid global uncertainties.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil futures for March delivery declined by ₹14, or 0.23 per cent, to ₹5,975 per barrel in a trading volume of 1,045 lots.
Analysts said the prices fell after participants offloaded their holdings due to weak demand in the spot market.
Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil was trading 0.32 per cent lower at USD 65.63 per barrel, while Brent Crude fell 0.35 per cent to USD 71.09 per barrel in New York.
