
RAJOURI, March 4: The first-ever Bhairav Yatra was organized in Rajouri, featuring vibrant cultural performances that added a new dimension to the traditional celebrations.
The event included a colorful procession depicting the Ashta Bhairav, a street play highlighting the significance of the yatra, and traditional folk performances with Dhol and Shehnai, coinciding with the Holi festivities.
The cultural program was organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages in coordination with the district administration, following a request from the Culture Department.
The event was supported by Principal Secretary Culture Brij Mohan Sharma and Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Sharma, with enthusiastic participation and appreciation from devotees and the public.
