Today, i.e. on 11-03-2026, a search is being conducted at the following locations in Cuttack, Bhubaneswar (Khordha), Puri, and Kendrapara districts, based on the allegation that Sri Prasanna Samantaray, Tahsildar, Kantapara, Cuttack, possessed disproportionate assets from known sources of income. The search is being conducted by the Odisha Vigilance, led by 2 Addl.SPs, 8 DSPs, 11 Inspectors, 5 ASIs, and other supporting staff, on the strength of search warrants issued by the Hon'ble Special Vigilance, Cuttack. The locations being searched are:
1. A three-story residential building located in Mauza-Kesara, P.S.- Saheednagar, Bhubaneswar.
2. Another three-story residential building (under construction) in Mauza-Kesara, P.S.- Saheednagar, Bhubaneswar.
3. His ancestral house located at Vill:-Duchhia, Alibada, P.S- Gadisagada, Dist: Puri.
4. The house of his relative located at Laxmisagar, Bhubaneswar.
5. The office chamber of Sri Prasanna Samantaray, Tahsildar, at Kantapada, P.S- Oldtapur, Dist-Cuttack.
6. The residential house of his other relative at Badapaldia, P.O./PS- Marshaghai, Dist.-Kendrapara.
7. His residential Government Quarter located at Kantapada, P.S- Oldtapur, Dist-Cuttack.
