Hyderabad, March 17 A security guard was apprehended here for allegedly posting abusive and offensive comments against actress Renu Desai on social media, police said on Tuesday.
During the investigation, the accused was identified and apprehended by the Cybercrime Police, a release from the Cyberabad Police Commissionerate said.
Recently, while browsing Instagram, the accused watched a reel of the actress and he posted an abusive and offensive comment from his Instagram account, they said.
During verification, the accused produced his mobile phone through which he had posted the objectionable content, the release added.
