SRINAGAR, March 29: Minister Javid Ahmad Dar inaugurated the District Kisan Mela in Srinagar, emphasizing its significance as a platform for farmer interaction, knowledge sharing, and the promotion of modern agricultural practices.
He stressed the importance of adopting advanced technologies, agricultural mechanization, and timely financial support to enhance productivity and farmers' income.
The Minister also distributed sanction letters for financial assistance and agricultural equipment to beneficiaries to improve farming efficiency. Senior officials from the Agriculture and Horticulture departments were present at the event.
