
KISHTWAR, FEBRUARY 26: The District Level Review Committee (DLRC) meeting for the quarter ending December 2025 was chaired by the Deputy Commissioner of Kishtwar, Pankaj Kumar Sharma, to assess the performance of banks in the district.
Lead District Manager Harsh Rawal presented an overview of banking indicators, including deposits, advances, the Credit-Deposit Ratio, and progress under the District Credit Plan 2025–26. Performance under both Priority and Non-Priority Sector lending, as well as government-sponsored schemes such as PMEGP and JKREGP, were reviewed. The issuance of Kisan Credit Cards and progress under NRLM, NULM, PMJDY, PMJJBY, and PMSBY were also assessed.
It was informed that ₹429.25 crore was disbursed under the Priority Sector, achieving 85.03% of the ₹504.79 crore Annual Credit Plan target, while ₹456.03 crore was disbursed under the Non-Priority Sector.
The Deputy Commissioner directed banks to improve Priority Sector lending, particularly in Education, Housing, and Social Infrastructure, and to ensure 100% achievement of targets under employment schemes. He also called for greater awareness campaigns in rural areas and closer coordination with relevant departments.
The meeting also reviewed the Potential Linked Credit Plan 2026–27, DEAF camp implementation, resolution of pending unclaimed deposit cases, and monitoring of Banking Correspondents.
Later, chairing the District Level RSETI Advisory Committee meeting, the DC reviewed the performance and training initiatives of RSETI. Senior officers from banks and concerned departments attended the meeting.
