REASI, March 4: Deputy Commissioner Kumar Abhishek chaired a meeting of the District Level Implementation Committee to review proposals under Mission YUVA.
Following a thorough review, 311 cases were approved for financial assistance and institutional support. The DC instructed banks to expedite the processing and disbursement of funds and requested them to provide clear reasons for any rejections to ensure transparency.
Later, he reviewed the progress of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) and instructed officials to initiate recovery from beneficiaries who have not started construction despite receiving assistance. He also asked officers to personally engage with beneficiaries to encourage early construction.
The meeting was attended by ADDC Sukhdev Singh Samyal, CPO Narinder Kumar, ALC, and other concerned officers.
