RAJOURI, APRIL 06: Rajouri Deputy Commissioner, Abhishek Sharma, reviewed preparations for the Rajouri Day celebration, scheduled for April 13, which will be jointly organized by the District Administration and the Indian Army.

He emphasized the need for close coordination among departments to ensure the smooth conduct of the event. Officials informed that several pre-event activities, including talent shows, heritage visits, medical camps, a candle march, and a walkathon, are being organized to engage the public.

The DC also directed departments to involve youth through initiatives such as competitions, book clubs, and awareness campaigns. Emphasis was placed on showcasing local culture and economy through stalls featuring government schemes, crafts, and products such as kaladi, honey, and strawberries.

The meeting was attended by senior district and sectoral officers.
