Srinagar, February 23: Deputy Commissioner of Srinagar, Akshay Labroo, and Principal of Government Medical College Srinagar, Prof. Iffat Hassan Shah, inspected the commissioning of a 10 MVA Receiving Station for associated hospitals under GMC.
The newly commissioned facility will ensure uninterrupted and seamless power supply to SMHS Hospital, Super Speciality Hospital Shireen Bagh, and the Dental and Nursing Colleges. Officials stated that three 11 KV outgoing feeders have been made operational to provide reliable electricity to these major healthcare institutions.
The DC and Principal appreciated the timely completion of the project and assured continued administrative support to further strengthen healthcare infrastructure. They also inspected the GMC hostel block for development and improved lighting arrangements.
