SAMBA, FEBRUARY 25: District Development Commissioner of Samba, Ayushi Sudan, chaired a District-Level Committee meeting to review the implementation of the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) and the Jammu & Kashmir Competitiveness Improvement Project (JKCIP).

During the meeting, 212 proposals under HADP and 41 under JKCIP were approved after careful review of online applications, marking significant progress in agricultural development initiatives in the district.

The DDC emphasized expanding the coverage of schemes for allied sectors, including Animal Husbandry, Sheep Husbandry, Fisheries, Horticulture, and Sericulture. She directed officers to maximize outreach to beneficiaries, promote farmer enrollment under the Daksh Kisan training programme and Kisan Khidmat Ghar (KKG) initiative, and ensure effective implementation at the grassroots level.

She also instructed departments to monitor and document the outputs of established units through the KSOT App to maintain transparency and accountability.

Senior district officers from the agriculture and allied departments attended the meeting, reaffirming the administration's commitment to sustainable and inclusive agricultural growth in Samba.
