Jammu, March 16 A Border Security Force (BSF) soldier allegedly committed suicide inside a camp in the Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir early Monday, officials said.
Head Constable Hari Babu, a resident of Uttar Pradesh, was found hanging inside his post at a camp in the Penthi area.
Officials said the body was taken to a hospital for post-mortem and other legal procedures.
The motive for his extreme act was not immediately known, officials said, adding that police have started an inquest and further investigation is underway.
