New Delhi, March 18 DEE Development Engineers Ltd on Wednesday said that its exports to West Asia are facing the risk of delays due to the geopolitical tensions in the region.
The company also said that supply to certain domestic clients will also be affected in the near term, and emphasized that there is no possibility of cancellation of these contracts, and that it remains confident in fulfilling its obligations.
"For DEE Development Engineers, the immediate consequence has been on our export orders to customers in the West Asia region. Certain shipments that were scheduled for execution in the near term are now at risk of delay, a situation that falls squarely within the ambit of Force Majeure under the terms of our export contracts," the company said in a filing to BSE.
As the Centre has invoked the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 and notified the Natural Gas (Supply Regulation) Order, 2026, the supply of LPG and natural gas to industrial and commercial consumers has been regulated.
"We recognize this as a necessary and well-considered response to an extraordinary situation, and DEE is fully supportive of and compliant with these directives. The practical consequence for us, however, is that the supply to certain domestic clients of the DEE will also see a near-term impact," it said.
These developments are expected to have a limited impact on DEE's overall performance for the current period.
"Our order book is healthy, with more than sufficient orders in hand to support our execution pipeline in line with our FY27 guidance. Our manufacturing capabilities remain fully intact, and our financial position is stable," the filing said.
