
New Delhi, March 19 Engineering firm DEE Development Engineers Ltd. began commercial production at its newly established seamless pipe manufacturing plant in Anjar, Gujarat, on Thursday.
The facility, with an installed capacity of 7,000 metric tonnes per annum, marks a significant milestone in the company's strategy to strengthen backward integration and expand its presence in high-specification piping products.
The plant will manufacture seamless pipes and tubes for critical applications across sectors such as oil and gas and industrial infrastructure.
The plant has been developed with a total capital investment of approximately Rs 89.74 crore, comprising Rs 63.37 crore for plant and machinery, Rs 24.82 crore for building, and Rs 1.55 crore for electrical infrastructure, reflecting a focused investment in manufacturing capabilities.
The facility is expected to contribute incremental revenue starting in the first quarter of 2026-27, with capacity utilization and operational efficiencies improving progressively over the next four quarters.
