
Union Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat met Member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, Kim Jae-won, today. In a social media post, the minister announced that they had a productive discussion on strengthening cooperation in culture, films, creative industries, and tourism. He added that with the growing popularity of Korean culture in India and the increasing interest in Yoga and Indian traditions in Korea, there is immense potential to further deepen people-to-people ties and enrich the India-Republic of Korea Special Strategic Partnership. He also emphasized that India and Korea share a deep civilizational connection that dates back centuries, from the historic legacy of Princess Suriratna of Ayodhya to the enduring spiritual bridge of Buddhism.
