
Mumbai, April 1 – Television actress Deepika Singh shared a heartfelt message expressing her gratitude and excitement as she embarks on a new phase in "Mangal-Desh Ki Beti."
"Mangal Lakshmi, Desh Ki Beti," is reportedly now following Mangal, who takes on a new role in life, where she finds herself privileged and chosen to serve the country.
In a post on Instagram, the actress said she feels overwhelmed and thrilled to explore this new chapter, while thanking her team for their constant trust and support.
For the caption, Deepika wrote: "Overwhelmed, extremely thrilled, and excited to play this new journey of Mangal—'Desh Ki Beti.'"
Deepika also acknowledged the relentless efforts of the team, highlighting their dedication and persistence over the course of 700 episodes, adding that this milestone was only possible because of the unwavering support from the audience.
She expressed her gratitude to @colorstv, @suzanaghaiofficial mam, and @siddharttha_vankar for trusting her craft. She thanked everyone for always being patient and supportive. The entire team of "Mangal Lakshmi" has been working tirelessly, persistently, and dedicatedly for the past 700 episodes.
"We have come this far only because of your support. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I know and trust that all of you will watch each episode of "Mangal Lakshmi" at 8:30 pm, Monday–Friday, only on @colorstv," Deepika concluded the post.
"Mangal Lakshmi" is an official adaptation of the Kannada TV series "Bhagyalakshmi," which also stars Sanika Amit, Naman Shaw and Shubham Dipta. Directed by Faheim Ahmad, the daily soap airs every Monday to Friday on Colors.
The basic premise of the story follows the character of Mangal, who embarks on a quest to find her sister Lakshmi's perfect match. However, love and trials test their sisterhood, revealing the power of destiny.
Talking about Deepika, she made her television debut with "Diya Aur Baati Hum," where she played IPS Sandhya Kothari Rathi opposite Anas Rashid. This proved to be a breakthrough in her career.
Following a break, Deepika returned to television in 2019. She played dual roles of Sandhya Patwardhan Jindal and Sakshi Patwardhan Salgaonkar opposite Namik Paul and Vin Rana, in "Kavach... Mahashivrati." She also played an advocate in the web series "Halala." In 2022, the actress made her film debut with "Titu Ambani" opposite Tushar Pandey.
