Srinagar, March 10: A delegation from the Kashmir RDD Vendors' Association met with Minister Javid Ahmed Dar of the Rural Development Department on Tuesday and raised concerns about unpaid bills for work completed by vendors between 2017 and 2020.
During the meeting, the delegation informed Minister Dar about the difficulties faced by vendors due to the delays in receiving payments for work carried out under various Rural Development Department projects during the period.
The members requested Dar to intervene and ensure the prompt clearing of the outstanding debts, stating that many vendors were experiencing financial difficulties due to the prolonged delays.
Minister Dar listened attentively to the concerns raised by the delegation and assured them that the matter would be reviewed and brought to the attention of the relevant authorities for appropriate action.
