
The Delhi Police is questioning three individuals in connection with the breach of security at the Delhi Assembly. In a statement, the Deputy Commissioner of Police (North) said that a case has been registered at the Civil Lines Police Station under appropriate sections of law, including attempt to murder, criminal trespass with intent to commit an offense, use of criminal force against a public servant, and Section 3 of the Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act, along with other relevant provisions pertaining to obstructing public servants in the performance of their duties.
An individual in a white Tata Sierra forcefully entered the premises of the Delhi Assembly yesterday afternoon. The Delhi Police stated that a search was launched across Delhi, and the vehicle was intercepted in the Roop Nagar area. The accused, identified as 37-year-old Sarabjit Singh, who is a resident of Pilibhit in Uttar Pradesh, was apprehended along with two other individuals. All three individuals are currently being questioned, and further investigation is underway.
