New Delhi, March 25 AAP MLA Aaley Mohammad Iqbal questioned the government in the Delhi Assembly on Wednesday about the steps it was taking to address the LPG shortage.
Iqbal was the sole AAP MLA present in the House, despite his party's boycott of the Budget Session.
His father, Shoeb Iqbal, a six-time MLA, resigned from the Aam Aadmi Party in November last year.
The Matia Mahal MLA said there was panic regarding LPG supply in the city and sought to know from the government what measures were taken to prevent black marketing and hoarding.
Food and Civil Supplies Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa stated that the supply of LPG in Delhi was normal.
"There is no panic in Delhi. Data show that there is no overbooking of cylinders and supply is normal," Sirsa said.
The BJP-dominated Delhi Assembly passed a censure motion on Wednesday.
