New Delhi, March 31 A Delhi court on Monday ordered the arrest of a Deputy Commissioner and an Administrative Officer of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi in a corruption case, and remanded them in one-day CBI custody.
Special Judge (PC Act) Dig Vinay Singh allowed a day-long custodial interrogation of Lt Col Abhishek Kumar Mishra, Deputy Commissioner, Shahdara North, and the other officer, who were arrested in a case involving a bribe of Rs 4 lakh.
According to officials, the Central Bureau of Investigation arrested Mishra after he allegedly sought a bribe.
