
New Delhi, March 23 A range of proposals, including a plan to set up a hospital and medical college at Kingsway Camp under a public-private partnership model, will be presented before the standing committee of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi on March 25.
The proposal involves the use of vacant land, with SBI Capital Markets Ltd as consultant, and is among the key items on the agenda.
The committee will also consider revenue-sharing arrangements for outdoor advertising at the Indira Gandhi International Airport and Aerocity.
A proposal to extend the deadline for the one-time property tax amnesty scheme, the Samridhi Scheme, until March 31 will also be taken up. The committee will examine audit observations related to pending tax recoveries and deficiencies in property tax assessments.
Measures to provide relief to parking contractors of the erstwhile South and North corporations during the second wave of COVID-19 are also listed for consideration among pending matters.
Administrative matters, including the restructuring of engineering posts and audit comments on the civic body's annual accounts for 2024-25, will also be discussed.
The agenda includes a lottery draw for the retirement of nine members of the 18-member standing committee, who are set to retire on March 30.
