New Delhi, March 16 The Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) on Monday revoked Stage 1 measures in the Delhi-NCR region under the Graded Response Action Plan following a significant improvement in air quality.
Due to favorable meteorological conditions, the Delhi air quality index (AQI) was recorded at 119 on Monday, according to the CAQM.
"Furthermore, the forecast by IMD and IITM indicates that the AQI is likely to remain in the moderate category in the coming days," an official said.
Restrictions under GRAP-1 have been in effect since an order issued on October 14 last year.
