
New Delhi, March 27 A total of 100 trainee constables passed out of the Delhi Police Academy on Friday after successfully completing their training, an official said.
The passing-out and swearing-in ceremony was held at the academy premises in the presence of Deputy Director Rajbir Singh, who attended the event as the chief guest.
The trainees underwent a comprehensive training program covering academic, physical, and specialized modules designed to prepare them for policing duties in the national capital.
According to the official, the academic component included subjects such as criminal law, criminology, cybercrime, and forensic science to equip the recruits with essential legal and procedural knowledge. The physical training module comprised unarmed combat, firing practice, anti-terror drills, and fitness activities.
The specialized training focused on riot control, handling terrorism-related situations, disaster response, and weapon handling.
"As part of their commando course, the recruits were also trained in explosives and IED awareness, field craft, ambush and raid tactics, and urban intervention techniques," the official said.
Family members of the trainees and officials of the academy attended the ceremony.
