New Delhi, April 3 A 22-year-old alleged gangster associated with the Sonu Dariyapur gang, who was wanted in a recent shooting case in outer Delhi, has been arrested, police said on Friday.
The accused, identified as Aryan, had been evading arrest since March 19 in connection with a shooting incident reported in Sultanpuri, they added.
"During interrogation, Aryan disclosed his involvement in the Sultanpuri shooting case, where he opened fire at members of a rival gang," a police officer said, adding that his associates in the case have already been arrested, while he had been on the run.
Police further said that the accused was arrested near Jeet Farm on the Narela-Alipur Road on March 30.
