New Delhi/Chandigarh, April 3 Earthquake tremors were felt in several parts of northern India on Friday night, including Delhi, Punjab, and Haryana.
The tremors, which lasted for a few seconds, occurred at 9:46 pm.
"I felt a strong jolt that lasted for a few seconds," said Baldev Chand, a resident of Chandigarh who lives in an apartment on the second floor.
Ajay Kumar, who lives on the 11th floor of a residential society in Zirakpur, Punjab, said, "The tremors lasted for a few seconds. We thought about going down, but the tremors stopped quickly."
