New Delhi, March 10 Traffic movement in certain parts of north Delhi is likely to be affected on Wednesday due to a formal event at Lok Niwas, police said.
The event will be held from 11 am to 4 pm, which may affect traffic on several key routes, including ITO Chowk, Ring Road, Mall Road, Rajpur Road, Mahatma Gandhi Marg, Chauburja Marg, Bhiku Ram Jain Marg, Shamnath Marg, Boulevard Road, and Lok Niwas Marg, according to an advisory issued by the Delhi Traffic Police.
Police said diversions may be implemented as needed at various locations, including the red light at PS Civil Lines, the red light on Shamnath Marg, the red light at Tis Hazari Court, the Khoya Mandi U-turn, the red light at Khyber Pass, the red light at St Stephen's, the Rajpur Authority Cut, and the MCD Chowk.
"All vehicles will be diverted from these points as and when required, except for emergency vehicles," the advisory stated.
It also added that no commercial vehicles will be allowed on the Raj Niwas Marg from 10 am to 4 pm.
