
New Delhi, February 25 – Delhi experienced a pleasant morning as the minimum temperature was recorded at 12.6 degrees Celsius on Wednesday, 0.1 degrees above the seasonal average, according to the India Meteorological Department.
The maximum temperature is expected to reach 29.9 degrees Celsius, with mainly clear skies forecast.
Data from individual stations showed that Palam recorded a minimum temperature of 13.8 degrees Celsius, 1.3 degrees above normal. Lodhi Road recorded 12.4 degrees Celsius, 1.4 degrees above normal, while Ridge recorded 14.8 degrees Celsius, 1.3 degrees above normal.
Ayanagar recorded 12.5 degrees Celsius, 0.2 degrees below normal. No rainfall was recorded at these stations until 8:30 am.
Regarding air quality, the AQI remained in the 'poor' category at 237 at 9 am.
According to the CPCB, an AQI between zero and 50 is considered 'good', 51 to 100 'satisfactory', 101 to 200 'moderate', 201 to 300 'poor', 301 to 400 'very poor', and 401 to 500 'severe'.
