New Delhi, March 24 Delhi recorded a minimum temperature of 16.6 degrees Celsius on Tuesday, one degree below normal, as the city is expected to have partly cloudy skies. Daytime temperatures are forecast to reach 30 degrees Celsius. The weather office said that.

Minimum temperatures at other stations also showed slight deviations from the normal levels. Palam recorded 17.4 degrees Celsius, 0.5 degrees above normal, while Lodi Road logged 16.1 degrees Celsius, also 0.5 degrees above normal.

At the Ridge station, the minimum temperature was 17.1 degrees Celsius, two degrees below normal, while Ayanagar recorded 16.7 degrees Celsius, one degree below normal.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts a maximum temperature of around 31 degrees Celsius.

Rainfall activity was minimal, with only trace amounts recorded at Safdarjung and Lodi Road, while Palam received 0.4 mm of rainfall. Ridge recorded 2.0 mm and Ayanagar 0.8 mm in the 24-hour period ending 8:30 am.

Delhi's air quality was classified as "moderate" with an AQI of 168, according to data from the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).

According to CPCB standards, an AQI of 0-50 is considered "good", 51-100 "satisfactory", 101-200 "moderate", 201-300 "poor", 301-400 "very poor", and 401-500 "severe".
