KATHUA, March 29: The Department of Floriculture organized a district-level event on commercial floriculture under the MIDH scheme at Shakti Palace.
Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Sharma urged young people to explore startup opportunities in the agricultural sector, highlighting the district's diverse agricultural potential and the availability of modern technology, training, and financial support.
Experts from various departments shared insights on floriculture, mushroom cultivation, horticulture, and related sectors, along with information on subsidy schemes and sustainable farming practices. Progressive farmers also shared their success stories to motivate others.
