
New Delhi, April 1 A Delhi court on Wednesday ordered the detention of a deputy commissioner and an administrative officer of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi for 14 days in a corruption case.
Special CBI Judge Sudhanshu Kaushik allowed the CBI's pleas seeking judicial custody of Lt Col Abhishek Kumar Mishra, deputy commissioner, Shahdara North, and the other officer, Devanshu Kumar Gautam, who were arrested on Tuesday in a case involving a bribe of Rs 4 lakh.
A detailed order is awaited. Earlier on Tuesday, the accused had been placed in one-day CBI custody.
