Union MoS for Home Affairs reviews development projects in Dima Hasao
Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar visited the Dima Hasao district of Assam today and reviewed various development projects and government schemes being implemented in the region.
During his first visit to the district, the minister inspected the PM Shri Government Girls’ Higher Secondary School in Haflong, the Haflong Civil Hospital, and several development projects.
He also assessed the implementation of a number of flagship schemes across the district.
As part of his visit, the minister reviewed projects under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY), Anganwadi Centres, ME and LP schools, Fair Price Shops, Health Sub-Centres, the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM), and Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana–Gramin (PMAY-G).
The minister is also scheduled to visit Sampardisa, known as one of the cleanest villages in the district, where he will interact with villagers and beneficiaries of various government schemes.
