Beed, Apr 9 Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said on Thursday that his government was committed to the comprehensive development of Shri Kshetra Gahininath Gad, a prominent religious site of the Nath sect, in the Beed district of the state.
Addressing a gathering at the concluding ceremony of the 94th 'Narali Saptaha' held at Mhasobawadi in Ashti tehsil, he said he had come to the site to pay his respects to Gahininath Maharaj as a devotee, and not as the head of the state.
"Whether it is road expansion or any other infrastructure requirement of Gahininath Gad, I am committed to resolving every issue," he said.
"The importance of Gahininath Maharaj in the Nath Sampraday (sect) is immense. What impresses me most is the meticulous planning here – the schedule for this Saptaha has already been finalized until 2039. This foresight reflects the strength of this devotional movement in uniting society," the CM said.
Environment Minister Pankaja Munde, NCP MLA Dhananjay Munde, and BJP legislator Suresh Dhas also spoke on the occasion.
