
Saharanpur (UP), March 14 Yogi Adityanath reviewed development works in the Saharanpur district on Saturday and offered prayers at the revered Shakumbhari Devi Temple, wishing for public welfare.
According to an official statement, the chief minister visited the temple complex and inspected the ongoing tourism development project there.
During the visit, he reviewed the progress of various facilities being developed under the tourism corridor project, including a souvenir shop, toilet block, tourist facilitation centre, and a multi-level parking facility.
Adityanath later offered prayers with Vedic chants at the Bhuradev temple and the Shakumbhari Devi Siddhpeeth temple.
While inspecting the projects, the chief minister directed officials to ensure that development works are completed within the stipulated timeframe while maintaining quality standards.
He also instructed that projects scheduled for completion in October be finished by the Sharadiya Navratri festival. The construction of an elevated road between the Bhuradev and Shakumbhari Devi temples should also be completed at the earliest, he said.
Senior BJP leaders, along with local legislators, officials of the administration and BJP functionaries, were present during the inspection.
