Devgn Shares Childhood Memories on Instagram.webp

Mumbai, March 23 – Joining the wave of nostalgia sweeping social media, Bollywood star Ajay Devgn has now fallen for the viral “What were you like in the 90s?” trend, giving a glimpse of his classic charm from the era that propelled him to stardom.

Ajay posted a video on Instagram, featuring himself and his son Yug. The video included the question, “Dad, what were you like in the 90s?” followed by a montage of pictures of a younger Ajay from the films he starred in during the 1990s.

He captioned the post: “Son, you couldn’t have been as cool as I was in the 90s.”

The “Dad/Mom, what were you like in the 90s?” trend involves netizens sharing nostalgic photos or videos from the 90s, often accompanied by the song "Iris" by the American rock band Goo Goo Dolls.

On the work front, Ajay was last seen in De De Pyaar De 2, alongside Rakul Preet Singh and R.Madhavan. He is currently awaiting the release of his upcoming film, "Dhamaal 4".

The film is now scheduled to be released on July 3. This is the second time the release date has been pushed back.

Initially, "Dhamaal 4" was slated for release on March 19. However, to avoid clashing with the box-office releases of two highly anticipated films, Ranveer Singh's "Dhurandhar: The Revenge" and Yash's "Toxic", the makers decided on a new release date of June 12.

Directed by Indra Kumar, "Dhamaal 4" will feature the core cast of the popular franchise, including Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Sanjay Mishra, and Jaaved Jaaferi.

Esha Gupta, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Anjali Anand, Upendra Limaye, Vijay Patkar, and Ravi Kishan will also be part of the cast.

"Dhamaal 4," backed by Ajay Devgn, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Ashok Thakeria, Indra Kumar, Anand Pandit, and Kumar Mangat Pathak, is presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series in association with Devgn Films, a T-Series Films, Maruti International, and Panorama Studios production.

The first installment of the franchise, “Dhamaal”, was released in 2007. The film stars Sanjay Dutt, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Aashish Chaudhary, Javed Jaffrey, Asrani, Sanjay Mishra, Murli Sharma, Vijay Raaz, Manoj Pahwa, Tiku Talsania, and Prem Chopra in key roles.

"Double Dhamaal" was released in 2011, followed by the third reboot, "Total Dhamaal," in 2019.
