Beed, Apr 11 A Class XII student allegedly committed suicide in the Beed district, a police official said on Saturday.
The incident occurred in the town of Ambajogai on Friday night, he said.
"Poonam Meghraj Dahiphale (17), originally from Umrewadi in the Dharur tehsil, was reportedly under exam stress, as indicated in her suicide note. She was living here with her younger brother and grandmother, while her father stays and works in Pune," the Ambajogai police station official said.
Further investigation is underway, he added.
