April 01, New Delhi – Lieutenant General Dhiraj Seth has taken over as the new Vice Chief of Army Staff, succeeding Lieutenant General Pushpendra Singh.
Prior to this appointment, Lieutenant General Seth served as the Commander of the Southern Army. Upon assuming office, he paid tribute to fallen soldiers at the National War Memorial and was given a ceremonial Guard of Honour in New Delhi.
