JAMMU, FEBRUARY 22: Director of Health Services, Jammu, Abdul Hamid Zargar, visited the Rajouri district to assess the functioning of health institutions and review service delivery.
A detailed review meeting was held at the CHC, Thanamandi (Darhal Block), with the In-charge Medical Officers, Block Management Unit, District Resource Persons, MLHPs, and programme nodal officers. The discussions focused on the implementation of National Health Programmes, infrastructure, manpower, the availability of essential drugs, and record maintenance.
Block Medical Officer Ruksana presented a performance report outlining achievements, gaps, and future action plans.
The Director emphasized patient-centric services, accountability, proper documentation, and strengthened monitoring, directing officials to enhance healthcare delivery in the district. Local residents appreciated the visit and the department's efforts to improve medical services in the remote area.
