April 03, New Delhi – The Speaker of the Lower House of Parliament, Lok Sabha, Om Birla, completed his self-enumeration for the census on Friday at his residence in New Delhi.
The Speaker urged citizens to actively participate in the exercise and contribute to the vision of "Jan-gan-na Se Jankalyan" (People, Nation, and Welfare).
For the first time, the census process is being conducted digitally, enabling citizens to independently record their household details through a highly secure, accurate, and user-friendly platform.
The self-enumeration phase will be conducted in stages across states and Union Territories, with citizens registering according to their respective regions.
