
The National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT) Jammu organized a Mega Job Fair at the Convention Centre, Canal Road, under the Digital J&K Project, sponsored by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.
More than 500 vacancies across technical and marketing roles were offered during the fair, with participation from over 20 reputed companies representing IT services, electronics manufacturing, and related sectors.
Joint Director and Officer Incharge, NIELIT Jammu, Rajneesh Raina highlighted the importance of the initiative in bridging the gap between industry requirements and skilled youth. He praised the efforts of the organizing team, trainers, and support staff in ensuring the success of the event.
Joint Director and Event Coordinator, Sarita Kaur, emphasized the strong response from both companies and candidates, reflecting growing trust in such employment platforms.
Placement Officer, Kanchan Koul, noted that the fair ensured transparent and merit-based recruitment, while CGC Coordinator, Gopal Sharan, highlighted the role of career guidance and counseling tie-ups in strengthening industry-academia collaboration.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from graduates, diploma holders, and skilled youth from across Jammu and Kashmir, reaffirming NIELIT Jammu's role in enhancing the skill ecosystem and promoting digital empowerment and inclusive growth.
