
External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar will be on an official visit to Mauritius and the United Arab Emirates, starting tomorrow. In the first part of his tour, Dr. Jaishankar will visit Mauritius to participate in the 9th Indian Ocean Conference. During his visit, the External Affairs Minister will meet with the leadership of Mauritius and review the entire range of bilateral relations.
He will also deliver the keynote address at the 9th Indian Ocean Conference. Furthermore, Dr. Jaishankar is expected to hold discussions with counterparts from other participating nations. This visit underscores India's "Neighbourhood First" policy, Vision MAHASAGAR, and commitment to the Global South. In the second part of his visit, the External Affairs Minister will visit the United Arab Emirates from November 11 to 12. During the visit, Dr. Jaishankar will meet with the leadership of the UAE to review close cooperation and deepen the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the two countries.
