
Beijing, March 21 Over 100 people, including members of the diplomatic corps and friends of India, watched a special screening of a popular Hindi film showcasing its ability to build bridges at the Culture Centre of the Indian Consulate in Shanghai.
"Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara," directed by Zoya Akhtar, was screened for the guests on Friday when Consul General Pratik Mathur said: "Indian movies remain a strong representation of India's soft power here in China."
Mathur emphasized the importance of Indian cinema in building bridges, as also demonstrated by the film's timeless themes of unbreakable friendship, meaningful adventures, and living life to the fullest, which continue to hold great relevance, the Shanghai Consulate said in a post on X.
It is a perfect celebration of India's cinematic magic, fostering people-to-people ties and inspiring the next generation to embrace every opportunity, Mathur said.
