Speaking first, BJP's Ghyas Shyam Tiwari stated that since ancient times, Indian culture has been closely linked to nature and the environment. He praised the government's efforts to protect the environment, including increasing forest areas.
Y.S.R.C.P.'s MP, अयोध्या रामी रेड्डी अल्ला, stated that 18% of the world's population lives in India, but only 4% of the world's usable fresh water is available here.
He cited a report by the NITI Aayog, stating that 60 crore people in the country are facing severe water crisis.
