District Administration Promotes Sports and Drug Prevention in Kathua.webp

KATHUA, FEBRUARY 21: As part of the "Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan" (Drug-Free India Campaign), Deputy Commissioner of Kathua, Rakesh Sharma, appealed to the youth to focus on their studies, build their careers, and avoid drugs by engaging in sports and activities that contribute to nation-building.

The District Administration, in collaboration with the Social Welfare Department, will organize cricket tournaments at the subdivision level, starting on February 22nd, culminating in district-level finals at the Kathua Sports Stadium. Additionally, volleyball kits and block-level tournaments will be launched to promote physical fitness, discipline, and mental strength among the youth.
